Ebeny has worked at Beacon Foundation for close to a decade – having previously been employed with the University of Tasmania in the School of Sociology and Social Work.
Ebeny’s background saw her join Beacon Foundation in the Research and Evaluation portfolio, eventually going on to manage this unit. Ebeny was pivotal in supporting Beacon Foundation transition from activity reporting into measuring and evaluating outcomes and impact.
In 2016, Ebeny moved out of Research and Evaluation into one of the organisation’s most ambitious projects to date – the Collective ed. project. Ebeny joined the project as the Assistant Director, with responsibility for outcomes and evaluation components of the project. At the start of 2018, Ebeny was appointed Director of Collective ed. and joined the Executive Team.
