Process

1. Fill out an application online via the DHS Screening Unit.

Helpful Hints

In ‘Application Details’
Under ‘Screening(s) Required’
SELECT ‘Working with Children’

You can verify your identity documents online or with an independent Verifying Officer.

2. Check the status of your application if required.

3. Email your Full Name (used on the Application), Date of Birth and your Unique ID (SRN xxxx-xxxx) to Beacon at wwcc@beaconfoundation.org.au.

Now you are ready to go!

Note: To renew your WWC you will have to start a new application. You can apply for a new WWC if your existing check will expire within 6 months.
