Working With Children Check (WWCC)

Application Guides for Beacon Foundation Volunteers

WWCC’s are really important to help keep young people safe. In most cases a WWCC (or state equivalent) is required when you participate in a Beacon program. We strongly encourage all volunteers to obtain a WWCC check even if it’s not mandatory. If you are unsure please get in touch with your Beacon contact.

A volunteer level Working With Children Check (or state equivalent) is sufficient for participating in Beacon’s programs.

Each state has a different WWCC process. Please click on your state below to access our WWCC volunteer guides which will assist you through the process.
